Worldwide there is wide misunderstanding of what total HVAC means. Most often end users think that Heating and Air-Conditioning systems also provide Ventilation, and vice versa. There are huge areas around the world where the Ventilation system is completely missing (only AC or Heating is available).

Very often the end users do not make a difference between the 2 systems, and do not realize the need of both. That`s why very often one of the systems (most often the Ventilation) is completely missing, which is improper.

Damvent's goal was to design the World`s 1st common/united system to provide simultaneously 1. Heating, 2. Cooling, 3. Ventilation, 4. Humidity Control, 5. Domestic Hot Water + 6. Integrated Energy Management

Key Advantages:

  • Require significantly less Power Input and Installed Electric Power (up to -30% and more), compared to all existing/well-known VRV/VRF systems + AHU`s for fresh air.
  • Require significantly less Service and Maintenance comparing to all existing/well-known systems.
  • Use 2pipe water system with the possibility for simultaneous heating, cooling and fresh air in different rooms (MultiZone HVAC).
  • Provides fully Automatic temperature control in the rooms, without manual adjustments of speed control and mode switch (cool/heat) by the users
  • Lack of any refrigerant in the rooms and respectively Refrigerant Leakage sensors (which are mandatory), due to being a water based system.
  • Requires a significantly lower installation place/footprint (m2) and overall volume (m3) (-30 to -50%) for positioning and mounting of the unit, compared to all existing/well-known VRV/VRF systems + AHU`s for fresh air.

Energy Management System(EMS)

As standard VMF is equipped with Energy Meter for measuring and recording the Total Energy Consumption (kWh) and mini PC for remote access and monitoring from every point of the world. In real time provides the momentary values of all consumers (VMF, Pumps), it calculates the Useful Capacity (Heating or Cooling) of Water and Fresh Air, and shows the most important indicator of the concept- COP/EERnet. Detailed alarm menu is available for the service and maintenance staff. Week schedule plus Graphs are available for customization account to the individual customer requirements.
